Hi there!
We have squeezed in several random things when the weather has cooled off on those random days. We just really did not do anything this summer and it seemed to just fly by. We went and used the last tickets to Botanical Gardens we had and really enjoyed just watching Skyler play (one of my clients is on the Board out there so she gets tickets whenever she needs them and passed several to us for dad to use with Sky). They were winding down the 'treehouse' displays (i use this term lightly as they were not very good ones) and had scarecrows and things made with hay bales. So naturally we had to get our pics made with the UofA-AU ones! Love to my hunny...YOU are the BEST, and Skyler and I love you!
We have had my best friends kids over several times lately in the afternoon so the kids can play and now that we are planning to move the kid next door and Sky have taken up with each other. They have been there for a while and it just seems like now our schedules have finally worked out so the boys can play in the late afternoon in the backyard. Skyler has really enjoyed and so have we. Normally 95% of the time its just Dustin, me, Sky and the dog. I know it is great for Sky to have someone to play with & not be so bored and have to look at us all the time.
Skyler is doing good so far this year in school. It is hard to believe that this is his last year and he will be starting kindergarten. Lately the days have started to fly be even faster and then you began to understand that when people say life flys by when you have kids, especially, the older they get. It makes 100% sense now! This year has just zoomed and its been so hard to just enjoy it & absorb it. I hope to homeschool him but it just depends on my job and where we are living at that point. For sooo many reasons it is much better now days, but still it is a major decision.
Well after 3 weeks we have not had one person view our home yet and we have looked at many houses but they were mostly dissappointing. There just are not many homes on the mkt they really interest us. At this point its not going to help us to find a new home b/c ours isn't moving. One big reason for this is that the government has suspended the aid back in May to First time home buyers so they can't get a house w/o a down payment....And our home would likely be a first time buyer getting it in this price range. So hopefully in a few weeks the gov't will step in and it will be active again for a few months.
Well above are some photos till next time! And ROLL TIDE and I guess, War Eagle too! :):)
